The David A. Bresler Student Life Center has Opened at Temple University’s Kornberg School of Dentistry

Doc Bresler’s Cavity Busters is featured as the cover story in the July issue of Suburban Life magazine. The Doctors Bresler created a beautiful and long-lasting philanthropic gift to Temple’s Kornberg School of Dental Medicine, honoring the life and legacy of their father, David A. Bresler, and his many decades of extraordinary contributions to the dental school, students, and alumni.
In memory of “Doc” Bresler, the David A. Bresler Student Life Center has been born. The official dedication and ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place in early September.

New Partnership with One House at a Time (OHAAT) “Beds for Kids Program”

Every child deserves a good night’s sleep in their own bed!

Doc Bresler’s Cavity Busters is excited to announce the new partnership we have formed with an organization called OHAAT (One House at a Time). Its “Beds for Kids Program” strives to ensure that every child has a bed to call their own, along with some essentials to improve their overall health and well-being. We know that a child’s ability to be alert and productive during the day can be directly related to the quality of sleep received the night before. Doc Bresler’s Cavity Busters is working to support our community by not only providing exceptional oral health care but by helping local children get the sleep they need and deserve! We have donated 500 bags with toothbrushes and coloring books – but together we can do more. The OHAAT “Beds for Kids Drive” has begun at our Northeast office, Geiger Road, location.
If you have any new TWIN-size bedding items (sheets, pillows, mattress pads, fleece blankets, bedspreads, or comforters) that you can donate – please bring them to our Northeast office location when you have an appointment. We have a collection box at the front desk. If you have an appointment at another office and would like to donate, please bring your donations with you at that time.
Thank you for your generous donations!  For more information, email or visit

Doc Bresler’s Cavity Busters Makes $5,000 Donation to Sunshine Foundation

Because COVID19 canceled 2020 events, we were unable to hold DOC’S ROCK THE BLOCK CAR SHOW, an annual fundraiser held in memory of our beloved founder and original “Doc Bresler”, Dr. David A. Bresler.

The Sunshine Foundation, a national wish-granting organization that answers dreams of children who have a chronic, life-long illness or medical condition, was dear to the heart of Doc Bresler and his family, and it has been a recipient of their decades-long, philanthropic efforts.

GIVING BACK and helping children, continues to be important to Doc Bresler’s Cavity Busters. Although the Car Show was canceled, thanks to our offices’ and Car Show sponsors’ generosity, we were able to honor Doc’s memory and make a contribution of $5,000 to The Sunshine Foundation (

THANK YOU to All of Our Health Educators! National Health Education Week is October 19-23, 2020.

Created in 1995, National Health Education Week has worked to raise awareness of the importance of health education specialists and their contribution to consumer wellness as well as educate the next generation of students. People in this profession provide knowledge, skills, and training to complement health providers, policy makers, human resource personnel, educators, and other professionals that impact human wellness.
Some of the best dental school educators are working right here, at Doc Bresler’s Cavity Busters; Drs. Josh, Jason, Rachel and Tracey Bresler. The apples have not fallen far from the tree. We also remember and honor the memory of Doc Bresler’s founder, David A. Bresler DDS, who was such a well-respected and beloved dental health specialist and educator, always sharing his benevolence, knowledge, time and support.

October is Down Syndrome Awareness Month

October is Down Syndrome Awareness Month. If you don’t know the facts, Down syndrome is the most common chromosomal condition and not a disease, with 6,000 babies born with Down syndrome every year— a 1 in 700 chance.

Children born with Down syndrome can grow up to live happy and long lives, as adults. With Down Syndrome Awareness Month, we can all learn more to better understand children and adults with Down syndrome, and the medical advancements that increasingly improve their quality of life.
